Boots rarely fit.
We have been playing football for as long as we can remember, and we played at a level where details matter.
Growing up, one thing was treated like a normal part of the game: boots rarely fit. Toes cramped, pressure points, rubbing, that “just break them in” advice.”
We assumed it was intentional, that if you are paying well over £100, the people making these boots must know what they are doing.
But the more we looked, the more it became obvious that the problem was not players’ feet. The problem was the boots.
